The Vermeer BC1500 is a high-capacity, industrial-grade woodchipper designed to tackle large tree limbs, brush, and vegetation with egiciency and safety. Powered by a robust diesel engine and engineered for reliability, it’s ideal for arborists, councils, and contractors needing heavy-duty performance on demanding jobs.

Transport Information:
This unit is trailer-mounted and towable but requires a vehicle with a 3.5-ton towing capacity and electric brakes. Most standard 4WDs and commercial utes equipped with a brake controller can tow this chipper. Alternatively, delivery to your site is available, or hire in a combo with our MR Chipper Bin trucks.
Usage Requirements:
- Operators must wear appropriate PPE including hearing protection, gloves, eye protection, and chainsaw-rated pants
- Operators must be competent and preferably trained in chipper operation (Arborist or AQF3 level recommended for commercial work)
- Machine must be operated on level, stable ground with clear access to infeed and discharge areas
- Loose clothing and jewelry must be avoided to prevent entanglement
