Once you submit your booking request, Rentsy will pre-authorise your credit card for the payment deposit. Once the rental store confirms your booking, your credit card will be debited for the amount.
After you pay the Rentsy deposit to secure your booking, you will need to pay the balance to the Rental Store. However please refer to the special requirements section of each item for the rental store supplier's payment terms regarding any additional deposit or balance payments. The deposit paid to Rentsy will be subtracted from the total booking amount.
Yes, you can request changes or cancellations before your rental period begins. Just note that each rental store supplier has their own cancellation policy, so check the terms on the listing or contact them for more info.
Some rental store suppliers offer free delivery, others charge a fee, and some require pickup. The delivery options and fees (if any) will be shown before you confirm your booking.
Once you decide on the item or items that you would like to hire, you can hit request and the rental store will then either accept or decline your booking. You should expect an answer within the first 24 hours of making your request however if you booking hasn't been confirmed, you can always contact us and we will notify the store.
Yes! Once your booking has been confirmed, the Rentsy chat feature will open up directly between yourself and the rental store supplier. This will allow you to ask questions, confirm details, arrange additional payments or make special requests.
The rental period is chosen by you at checkout. If you need to extend the time, just contact the rental store supplier directly via the Rentsy chat.
Accidents happen. If an item is returned damaged or lost, you may be responsible for repair or replacement costs. These terms are outlined by the supplier and visible before booking.
