About Us:

My involvement with Weddings in Queensland began 16 years ago when I stepped into the industry as a professional singer. Over my many years singing at every type of wedding and function imaginable - very small, intimate private house Weddings to large Convention Centre extravaganzas - I can honestly say I have seen it all. I have learned a lot and have loved every minute of it! In between gigging up a storm and looking after my precious fur babies (my pup, Pixie, and my cat, Lynx), I managed to complete 2.5 degrees, work for a long time as a Team Leader at Myer and learn all about this fabulous journey we call LIFE. Being a "details" person, having a natural affinity for people and living my unique life experiences has taught me how to be sensitive to a client's needs, pre-empt their wishes and deliver exactly that all whilst providing 5 star service. I truly feel that everyone deserves that. Now back to the topic at hand! I have to say that I always particularly loved watching Celebrants doing their thing during Wedding Ceremonies and one day, I decided that it was time for me to follow my heart into becoming a Celebrant, too. So I did! A beautiful moment of serendipity happened the week after I finished my Celebrant course, learning about the ins and outs of marrying people who are in love - I met my now-husband (isn't it funny the way life works out?). Coming from a law background in Brazil, Leo had always wanted to move into owning his own business, so we put our heads together and decided that it made sense for us to develop one that was connected to the Wedding Industry, since I was already so involved there. After realising how much fun we both had in a photo booth at a friend's party, we thought it was the perfect fit and, after scouring the World to find the best one, bought a beautiful open-air retro style photo booth. Today, I work in the capacity of Celebrant, professional singer with my band, Martini, Director of Booth Chic Brisbane, Director of Chic Brisbane Events, Director of Velvet Rope Entertainment, and Director of Redtie Entertainment and feel very blessed indeed to be completely immersed in the world of Weddings and the Queensland Events and Entertainment industry every day of my life.
