Gold Coast Party Pontoons Terms and Conditions This list of Terms and Conditions forms part of the agreement when you hire a boat from Gold Coast Party Pontoons. Cancellation Policy Our boats are carefully prepared for each booking. Cancellation is only possible upon strong rain or severe weather. Our boat is comfortable in adverse and wet conditions due to front and side roll down clear curtains and solid insulated roof. Wind of 30 knots and above will be cause for cancellation of the booking. We reserve the right to cancel a boat up until 7:30am on the day of the booking. No refunds, but the booking deposit will be applied to an alternate date suitable to both parties but no later than 90 days after the cancelled booking. Rescheduling You may reschedule a booking up to 14 days prior to the booking date and an administration fee of $125 will apply. We reserve the right to request payment for the booking in full at time of rescheduling. Rescheduling is not permitted less than 14 days prior to the booking date unless by reason of cancellation under the cancellation policy. Security Bonds The security bond required for each vessel is as follows: Funboat = $200 Luxury = $500 Ultimate = $1,000 Slipnslide = $1,000 Other Terms Payment by Credit Card or Paypal will attract a payment fee. The amount is displayed at checkout prior to payment. All guests MUST arrive half an hour before departure time. If guests are not onboard half an hour after the scheduled departure time, the booking may be considered a 'no show' and cancelled without refund. Hiring of our boats is an activity that is undertaken at your own risk and while we take all care, and supply all safety equipment, no responsibility for injury or death is accepted by Gold Coast Party Pontoons. As hirer of one of Gold Coast Party Pontoon’s vessels you are responsible for any damage to the vessel unless our Insurance Policy covers the accident or loss of the vessel. In the case of a successful insurance claim an excess of up to $1000 may still be payable. We do not supply a refund if you return the boat early. However if the vessel you have hired is returned late or you are unable to return it on time because you are lost or you are stuck on a sandbar or for any other reason then a late return fee or rescue mission fee will be charged. This may be up to $1000 with a minimum of $50 depending on the circumstances.
