Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed once the agreed reservation fee or full payment has been received.

Where the Audio Guest Book is hired as a standalone service, full payment may be required prior to delivery or dispatch.

Delivery & Return

The Audio Guest Book may be:

• Delivered and collected by Mischief & Memories
• Collected and returned by the hirer
• Sent via courier for self-use events

Where courier delivery is used, the hirer agrees to return the equipment using the provided packaging and return instructions by the agreed return date.

Late returns may incur additional hire charges.

Responsibility for Equipment

All equipment supplied as part of the Audio Guest Book hire remains the property of Mischief & Memories at all times.

The hirer accepts full responsibility for the equipment from the time it is delivered or collected until it is returned and inspected.

The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft or damage caused during the hire period.

Repair or replacement costs may be charged where equipment is damaged, lost or not returned.

Safe Use

The Audio Guest Book must be placed in a safe and stable location where guests can easily access the phone.

The phone must not be exposed to rain, moisture, extreme heat or unsafe conditions.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring guests use the equipment respectfully and do not misuse or tamper with it.

Guest Recordings

Guests will hear a personalised greeting recorded by the client before leaving their message.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring guests understand they are being recorded and that the messages will be shared with the event host.

Audio Delivery

After the event, recordings will be organised and delivered through a private online gallery or digital download.

Delivery typically occurs within 7 days after the event, though this may vary during busy periods.

Optional upgrades such as USB keepsakes, highlight reels or waveform video clips may be available depending on the package selected.

Recording Limitations

While every effort is made to capture clear recordings, Mischief & Memories cannot guarantee every message will be successfully recorded due to factors outside our control such as:

• Guests hanging up early
• Background noise
• Incorrect use of the phone
• Environmental conditions

Credit Card Authorisation

The hirer may be required to provide a valid credit or debit card which may be securely held on file until the equipment is returned and inspected.

This may be used to recover reasonable costs relating to damage, loss, theft or late return of equipment.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mischief & Memories’ liability in connection with the hire of the Audio Guest Book is limited to the total amount paid for the service.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
